Key takeaways
- Between 1,000 and 1,400 seasonal workers across dozens of sites are contacted at the end of every season.
- A conversation rather than a form, while the AI still infers measurable KPIs from each response.
- Three campaigns over 18 months identified concrete improvement areas across the residences and led to continued use.
"We had enormous difficulty collecting the overall feedback of our seasonal workers because of the sheer volume they represent and the many different sites where they may be working, whether in the mountains, by the sea, or in the countryside." Clément Pruniaux, HRBP Manager at Pierre & Vacances
Pierre & Vacances recruits between 1,000 and 1,400 seasonal workers across its resorts every season. Faced with retention and improvement challenges made more complex by these volumes, the company uses Omogen to transform satisfaction surveys into genuine conversations with actionable results.
Pierre & Vacances and the challenge of feedback at scale
Pierre & Vacances is the European leader in holiday residences. Every year, the company mobilises between 1,000 and 1,400 seasonal workers to operate its sites. Their feedback is essential to improving the employee experience over time and making it easier to renew contracts.
Before Omogen, Pierre & Vacances relied on traditional satisfaction questionnaires. But the workforce is large and dispersed, while contracts and contact windows are short. Satisfaction forms are generally not very engaging for respondents, which leads to low response rates.
In this context, gathering reliable, actionable feedback on the seasonal-worker experience was both difficult and essential.
How Omogen adapted to the retention challenge
Omogen's AI agent, initially designed for recruitment, was redirected toward another, more pressing Pierre & Vacances priority: seasonal-worker satisfaction and retention.
"They knew how to adapt their tool to our needs." Clément Pruniaux
In practice, the process works as follows: at the end of each season, Omogen's voice agent calls seasonal workers to collect their feedback. The conversation covers onboarding, working conditions, equipment available on site, and whether they intend to return the following season.
What sets this approach apart from a traditional form is that seasonal workers are never asked to rate something on a scale from one to ten. The conversational format makes the process more human and allows for deeper feedback. Measurement is not lost: the AI infers measurable scores and KPIs from what was said.
"The conversation remains natural — we don't ask a seasonal worker to give a score from one to ten. The artificial intelligence estimates the result based on the worker's response." Clément Pruniaux
The first responses from seasonal workers also dispelled the team's initial uncertainty about how people would react to speaking with a voice AI.
"We really wondered how our seasonal workers would react to having a conversation with a virtual agent. In the end, it went very well. They were genuinely pleased to be able to share their feedback and rather enjoyed the experience." Matthieu Massouf
Pierre & Vacances now has an approach that is both more engaging for seasonal workers and easier to analyse afterward: more feedback, greater depth, and results designed to improve the experience season after season.
Three campaigns with actionable results
Over 18 months, Pierre & Vacances ran three campaigns with Omogen:
- May 2025 — seasonal workers from the previous three years (a catch-up campaign)
- December 2025 — seasonal workers from the summer season
- Spring 2026 — seasonal workers from winter 2026
Each time, the process was the same: Alex called, the conversation began, and the data was aggregated by residence.
"We were able to identify strengths across our residences and work on potential areas for improvement." Matthieu Massouf
What comes next?
For Clément Pruniaux, going back to the old approach is no longer a consideration. Pierre & Vacances continues to use Omogen for its satisfaction surveys, helping the company retain its seasonal workforce.
"I would recommend Omogen to any multi-site company looking to collect employee feedback but struggling to reach people in the field. The agent provides a communication solution that produces concrete results." Clément Pruniaux
