This document combines the legal notice for the Mio service with our personal-data (GDPR) policy. It explains who publishes Mio, what data we process, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have — including deleting your account.

1. Publisher & legal notice
The Mio site and service (“Mio”, “the Service”) are published and operated by OMOGEN, acting as the controller of your personal data. The publisher's identification details appear in the table above.
The Service is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). Data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Paris region, France).
All elements of the Service (trademarks, logos, text, interfaces, software) are protected by intellectual-property law and remain the exclusive property of OMOGEN or its partners. Any reproduction or reuse without prior authorization is prohibited. Job listings shown remain the property of their respective publishers.
2. Scope & who we are
Mio is an AI-powered job-search assistant. It gets to know your profile to suggest relevant jobs, chat with you by text or voice call, and — with your consent — connect you with recruiters.
This policy applies to the Mio web app and related communications (email, WhatsApp/SMS). OMOGEN is the controller of your data within the meaning of the GDPR.
3. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we collect the following categories of data:
- Identity and contact: name, email address, phone number.
- Professional profile: experience, skills, education, location, search preferences (role, contract, mobility, salary).
- Documents: your CV and the files you upload.
- LinkedIn data: the profile information you authorize us to import, with your consent.
- Interactions with the assistant: chat messages, and — for voice calls — the audio, its transcript and the call summary.
- Usage and technical data: device, connection logs, cookies necessary for the Service to work.
4. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- suggest and rank job offers suited to your profile;
- run the assistant (chat and voice calls) and build or pre-qualify your profile;
- reach back out with new offers and reminders, through the channel you chose (email, WhatsApp);
- connect you with recruiters, only with your consent;
- improve, secure and troubleshoot the Service;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Legal bases (Article 6 GDPR)
- Your consent (Art. 6.1.a): LinkedIn import, recruiter introductions, marketing contact channels. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b): providing the Service you requested.
- Our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): improving, securing and preventing abuse of the Service.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).
6. How our AI works & automated decisions
Mio uses large language models (AI) to read your profile and CV, talk with you and rank offers. These recommendations are decision support: they are not a solely automated decision producing legal effects concerning you. You always decide whether to apply or be introduced, and you can request human intervention.
We do not sell your data and do not use it to train third-party AI models beyond what is necessary to run the Service.
7. Data sharing & processors
We never sell your data. We share it only:
- with recruiters or employers, only with your explicit consent for an introduction;
- with our processors acting on our instructions: Amazon Web Services (hosting, EU), SendGrid (email), Twilio (WhatsApp/SMS), and AI model providers (including Google/Gemini) to run the assistant;
- with the job-listing sources we aggregate, within the limits of their terms;
- with the competent authorities where the law requires it.
8. International transfers
Your data is hosted in the European Union (Paris region). Some processors (notably AI providers) may process data outside the EU. In that case, such transfers are covered by a European Commission adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
9. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. After you delete your account, your data is erased or irreversibly anonymized, except for records the law requires us to keep. Accounts that stay inactive for an extended period may be deleted.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures: encryption of data in transit, access controls following the principle of least privilege, and EU hosting. As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data at all times.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:
- Right of access — confirm that your data is processed and receive a copy;
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion of your data;
- Right to restriction of processing;
- Right to portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect.
To exercise these rights, write to legal@omogen.ai. We respond within one month at the latest. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
12. Deleting your account & right to erasure
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (profile, CV, conversations, calls, applications) at any time by writing to legal@omogen.ai (or support@omogen.ai). Your request is processed within one month: your data is erased or irreversibly anonymized, except for records the law requires us to keep.
14. Minors
The Service is intended for people aged at least 16 (or the applicable digital-consent age in their country). We do not knowingly collect data from younger individuals.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this document. If we make a material change, we will inform you by an appropriate means. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
16. Contact
Legal or data questions: legal@omogen.ai. Questions about the Service: support@omogen.ai. Post: to the registered office listed above.
